Meet The Team

Meet Sarah Voigt-Campbell, an NRA certified instructor who's passionate about personal safety. Her father, Mike Voigt, was a world champion competitive shooter and influenced her love of the shooting sports. With her extensive knowledge and experience, Sarah is dedicated to helping others feel confident and secure in their ability to protect themselves.

Jared supports Bigfoot Ballistics as a Graphic Designer and Photographer, and steps in as a Range Safety Officer when needed. With a deep background in the history of military firearms from WWII to today, he enjoys helping students build safe handling skills while clearing up the myths and lore that often surround guns.

She began with Bigfoot Ballistics as the web designer during its early start-up phase, but her role quickly expanded into administrative support and eventually volunteering as a Range Safety Officer for all classes. While her firearm experience is limited, she is passionate about learning, teaching, and supporting safe training environments. She is currently a nursing student and brings that same dedication and care to the courses.

Originally from Oklahoma, starting at age five with their grandfather’s guidance, they've had immense exposure to firearm handling. Remy served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1992–1997 with an explosive ordnance detachment, deploying to Iraq, Afghanistan, and Turkey. After the military, they spent four years as a police officer in Minnesota, e eventually moving to Oregon in 2021. They got involved with Bigfoot Ballistics after meeting Sarah and discovering their shared interest in firearms. Believing strongly in the value of women’s firearm education and safe handling, they began assisting with Sarah's classes, drawing on a lifetime of shooting, collecting, and responsible gun ownership.
